ECH Elektrochemie Halle GmbH is the headquarters of the ECH Group, which was founded in 1992 by Dr. Michael Hahn.

Dr. Hahn and his team soon developed the world's first automated coulometric Karl Fischer test, a gas extraction method for gas chromatography, and a range of analytical analyzers for AOX (absorbable organic halogens), EOX (extractable organic halogens), and POX (washable organic halogens).

ECH is today considered a leading developer and manufacturer of analytical detection instruments. They offer a wide range of instruments that can be used in the laboratory, as portable measuring devices, or integrated into a plant as online process analyzers.

Our unique philosophy is to create unique applications, further develop them with leading testing authorities such as ASTM, ISO, DIN, etc., and then bring the laboratory method directly to the sampling point as a portable or online system.
