ECH is an official partner of the state competition "Jugend forscht" in Saxony-Anhalt.

On June 18, 2019, Dr. Michael Hahn, Managing Director of ECH, signed a partnership agreement with the "Jugend forscht" (Youth Researches) foundation in Magdeburg. Together with TGZ Halle GmbH, ECH will host the state competition in Halle (Saale) on the grounds of the Weinberg Campus technology park starting in 2020.

“We are delighted to be able to support this in the future!” said Dr. Hahn after the signing. It took place in the office of Gabriele Brakebusch, then President of the State Parliament of Saxony-Anhalt and patron of the state competition.

For many years, Dr. Michael Hahn and Dr. Dorit Wilke from ECH have supported the competition at the regional and state levels. They are constantly surprised and delighted by the questions that interest the students: “We want to encourage young people and support them in realizing their ideas. Working with them is a great enrichment, as they bring new perspectives to the project. Furthermore, ‘Jugend forscht’ allows students to gain early exposure to research and development projects in the state.”
