Product description
The MobilGC is a portable gas analyzer developed for rapid on-site analysis of refrigerants in refrigerated containers (reefers). It delivers the same high level of accuracy as reference analyses performed by external service and testing laboratories.
The MobilGC reliably distinguishes between the approved refrigerant R-134a and illegal substances such as R-22, R-40, R-142b, and others. In addition, it detects the highly hazardous decomposition product of R-40, tri-methyl-aluminum (TMA).
Even if TMA decomposes into methane during sampling, the MobilGC precisely measures the resulting methane concentration, allowing the original TMA content to be accurately determined.
All target gases are detected simultaneously in a single measurement lasting only 8 minutes, with a detection limit down to 1 ppm. This enables the MobilGC to deliver laboratory-grade results with significantly reduced time and cost compared to conventional analytical methods.
Key Features:
- Portable, easy-to-use gas analyzer for reefer inspections
- Laboratory reference accuracy directly on site
- Reliable differentiation between approved refrigerants and banned substances
- Detection of hazardous decomposition products such as TMA
- Compensation of TMA degradation through methane measurement
- Complete analysis in just 8 minutes
- High sensitivity down to 1 ppm
Applications
- Cooling gas analysis
- Emission and immission measurements
- On-site-analysis, process control, online monitoring
- Suitable for continuous limit value monitoring of total concentration of hydrocarbon in gas samples
- Allows to link with gas extraction techniques, e. g. for gas in oil analysis
Advantages
The MobilGC for cooling gases is a robust instrument for mobile use in a harbour situation.
The software of the device is installed on a mobile computer and designed in a user friendly way.
The combination of accuracy, speed and mobility gives
you the possibility to act in time, without delays.
