The MobilGC is a gas-phase gas chromatograph specifically designed for easy operation and robust field applications. In combination with the Sampling Box, it enables precise determination of gas compositions in accordance with the ASTM standards D 2163 (LPG analysis) and D 2598 (evaluation method).

Thanks to its rugged housing and integrated gas supply, the MobilGC allows reliable LPG analysis directly on site. The system offers measurement sensitivity in compliance with ASTM requirements and covers a concentration range from 0.1% to 100% for pure gas components.

Sample preparation is straightforward: the Sampling Box is connected to the LPG cylinder or sampling line and to a sampling bag. A 5 mL sample of liquefied gas is expanded into the bag. This method also enables the preparation of gas mixtures, for example by adding additional components for calibration purposes.

For analysis, the sampling bag is connected directly to the MobilGC. The gas sample is separated using a heated separation column. With the user-friendly MobilGC software, chromatograms can be evaluated quickly and in full compliance with standards. The integrated expert system presents results both as concentrations and as total MON numbers or MON values for individual components.
